MAC Construction are currently delivering the full groundworks package for a 38-unit residential development, with completion targeted for November 2026.
The project encompasses a comprehensive range of civil engineering and groundworks activities, from initial site preparation and specialist raft foundations through to drainage, utilities, roads and final external works.
Our Scope of Works
- Site preparation – stripping of the site and disposal of surplus material off site.
- Raft foundations – complete installation of the raft foundation system, including:
- Foundation excavations
- Pile cropping
- Ground beam formation
- Installation of two layers of reinforcement mesh
- Corrie formwork
- Concrete installation
- Drainage infrastructure – installation of the main stormwater and foul drainage networks throughout the development.
- Site services – installation and commissioning of all major site services, including:
- Water
- Electrical services
- Eir telecommunications
- Public lighting
- EV charging infrastructure
- Road construction – installation of traditional road kerbs and preparation of road areas for final tarmac.
- External works – completion of building curtilages and public spaces, including fencing, concrete paths and landscaping.
From Foundations to Final External Works this development demonstrates MAC Construction’s ability to deliver a complete residential groundworks package, combining specialist foundation construction with drainage, utilities, road infrastructure and external finishing works.
With a target completion date of November 2026, MAC Construction are delivering the works with a strong focus on quality, coordination, programme and safe working practices.
